Step into 1960s Dublin, where an amateur theater group and their passionate leader, bus conductor Alfie Byrne, bring Oscar Wilde’s Salome to life against all odds. A Man of No Importance weaves a heartfelt tale of courage, love, and the transformative power of theatre.

From the acclaimed creators of Ragtime (and composers from Once on This Island, Seussical and Anastasia), this evocative and award-winning musical delves into themes of identity, acceptance, and artistic defiance, echoing the bold spirit of Broadway itself. A story about friendship and redemption, it celebrates the enduring impact of theater for a man who proves he is anything but unimportant.

Performance dates will be Friday 2/27 at 7:30PM, Saturday 2/28 at 7:30PM and Sunday 3/1 at 2:00PM at Fellowship Hall/GCC (242 Salmon Brook St. Granby, CT).

This production is rated PG-13 for mature content, strong language and themes of homophobia, including one scene of violence.
